I've been meaning to get around to this for a while. There is a plaque on the drivers side visor written in Japanese and it had a symbol that corresponded to one in the gauge cluster.
Being a warning symbol, I sort of wanted to know what it meant......
So in comes my brothers japanese girlfriend. I gave her the visor, and she translated it for me. Not being a car enthusiast, there may be some mistranslation, but it generally makes sense.
And the translation is as follows:
| Attention when driving | Toyota Inc. |
| (1) When driving this car, read the instruction book and drive safe. | (3) When stopping / parking the car, make sure there is nothing flammable around your car.
When starting the car, make sure there is nothing infront or behind your car. |
| (2) When (symbol) exhaust temperature lamp is on
(only in the car that has the supercharger fitted)
|
* Make sure you check your car before going out, and have the car serviced every once in a while. |
